In order to facilitate a fluent execution of the technical sessions, the presenters are requested to upload their presentations during the coffee break before their session . Laptops and technical assistance will be provided in each conference room, and in order to minimize changeover times, please use the available devices and upload your presentation from a USB stick. If you wish to use your own laptop for your presentation, please check to make sure that your computer is compatible with the projector, the laser pointer, and the sound system (including the volume of your sound files) in advance to avoid delays in the programme due to technical difficulties. If your presentation contains a video or sound file, make sure the file is embedded in the presentation and does not rely on an external file location. Please include your unique “Lecture ID” in the filename of your PowerPoint or PDF file in order to help the session chair keep track of uploaded presentations. The session chair will be available for questions and support in the corresponding conference room during the break preceding the session. There are two parallel technical sessions during the NVH Hungary 2023 conference. Sessions 1-3-5-7 will be located in Conference Room 3 – Békésy, while Sessions 2-4-6-8 will be held in Conference Room 4 – Tarnóczy.
One presentation slot is 20 minutes long and consists of 15 minutes for the presentation, 3 minutes for questions, answers, and discussion, and 2 minutes for changeover and introduction of the next speaker. Every presentation will start precisely on time in order to maintain synchronization between the two parallel sessions. When the presentation enters the last 1 minute of its schedule, the session chair will signal the presenter, allowing them to conclude, and finish the presentation on time.
The language of the presentations (including the slides) and the Q&A session will be held exclusively in English.
